Medical Cannabis for Neurological Conditions

Cannabis-based therapies may support patients with neurological conditions including multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and migraines. Can° Clinic offers evidence-informed care for those not finding relief through traditional treatments. Learn how medical cannabis can contribute to better neurological symptom control.

Neurological Conditions

The term ‘Neurological Conditions’ refers to any condition that affects the brain, spinal cord, or nervous system. You may have been born with a neurological condition or developed it over time. Either way, evidence suggests that medical cannabis can be a useful option for a number of these conditions under certain circumstances.

Can Medical Cannabis Help with Neurological Conditions?

Medical cannabis is being explored as a treatment option for a variety of neurological conditions, including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathic pain. It interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system to help regulate nerve activity, reduce inflammation, and ease pain or muscle stiffness. For patients struggling with tremors, seizures, or nerve pain, cannabis-based treatments can provide a safe and clinically guided approach to improving daily function and overall quality of life.

A Complementary Option for Complex Neurological Symptoms

Living with a neurological condition often means managing unpredictable symptoms like spasms, sleep issues, anxiety, or mobility challenges. Medical cannabis offers a promising option when standard treatments don’t provide enough relief. Patients under specialist care may experience better symptom control, fewer side effects, and an improved sense of wellbeing. At Cantourage Clinic, we help patients navigate the use of cannabis-based medicines safely, tailoring treatment plans to their unique neurological needs.
