Leukaemia and Lymphomas are cancers that affect the body’s blood-forming tissues. The exact cause of these conditions is unknown and can vary from patient to patient.
Like other forms of cancer, Leukaemia and Lymphoma are often treated using chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgeries – all of which can result in additional side effects.
Evidence suggests that medical cannabis may be useful in managing symptoms associated with cancer treatments such as Cancer-Related Pain, Chemotherapy-Induced Nausea and Vomiting, and Cancer-Related Appetite Loss.
