In honour of the 50th anniversary of London pride, we are donating £1 from every consultation booking to our chosen charity, Mind Out across July. To show our support, we want to take this time to use our platform to advocate support for the LGTBQ+ community and their inspirational work to campaign for medical cannabis to be more accessible within the community.
At Cantourage Clinic, our aim is to make medical cannabis more accessible for the UK, to do this, it is crucial to us that we ensure all communities are supported, empowered and most importantly, heard.
We recognise the challenges still faced within the LGBTQ+ community and share our support with London Pride's powerful statement this year, calling on the government to ban conversion therapy, and provide equal protection for communities against hate crime, by making homophobic, biphobic or transphobic hate crime an aggravated crime in line with racial and religious hate crimes, end its hostile environment toward minority migrants, establish a national AIDS memorial that honours and remembers those who we have lost and the impact of HIV and Aids and to take a leading role in tackling the violence and discrimination against LGBTQ+ people around the globe.
Mind Out is an incredible organisation that works to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all LGBTQ+ communities and aims to make mental health a community concern. We are proud to offer these donations to an astounding charity that we believe shares a mutual aim to support those who may be suffering from chronic mental health conditions and to spread awareness of the importance of inclusivity and accessibility for for all who identify as LGBTQ+.
